Devonport Deputy Mayor Stacey Sheehan has discussed several key developments shaping the city’s future, including the proposed Stoney Rise development, Berth 3 construction, housing and the arrival of Supercars.

Stoney Rise Development was highlighted as an important opportunity for Devonport’s continued growth, with development in the area having the potential to support future housing, business and infrastructure needs.

The construction of Berth 3 was also discussed, with the project expected to play an important role in supporting Devonport’s port and strengthening the city’s position as a major transport and tourism hub.

Housing remains another important issue for the region, with continued growth creating a need for more housing options to accommodate residents, workers and future development.

Ms Sheehan also spoke about the excitement surrounding Supercars coming to Devonport. The event presents an opportunity to attract visitors to the city, support local businesses and showcase Devonport and the wider North-West to a broader audience.

With major infrastructure projects, new development and large-scale events on the horizon, Ms Sheehan said Devonport has significant opportunities ahead as the city continues to grow and evolve.
